EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position plays an important role in highway safety by conducting driving tests and reviewing various documents regarding identification. Through your work you will support secure licensing, fraud prevention, and positive customer service. As a Driver License Examiner, you will perform the following duties:
Conduct Exams:Administer vision, knowledge, and road tests to evaluate driver qualifications-
Evaluate Vehicles:Check vehicle conditions such as lights, wipers, and inspection status

Verify Identity:Review applications and identity documents to detect irregularities and fraud

Customer Assistance:Provide information on licensing, renewals, transfers, and card products

Process Records:Enter test results, issue products, and follow service policies and guidelines

Maintain Standards:Follow safety procedures, REAL ID rules, and customer service requirements

Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Overtime and travel to other driver license centers may be required as necessary.
