Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant drive thru team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your role will involve engaging with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the drive thru environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently to handle customer transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and offering assistance as needed.
- Maintain food safety standards by ensuring all food items are stored properly and prepared in a clean environment.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, including cash handling and providing accurate change to customers.
- Keep the shop area clean and organized, including counters, and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Requirements
Must be available to work evenings and weekends
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
