Responsibilities
- Homeroom teacher.
- Attend all professional development.
- Maintain a grade book.
- Write detailed lessons that are engaging.
- Support students with special education needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities.
- Manage classroom behavior by implementing effective behavior management strategies.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Engage with colleagues and collaborate.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Skills
- Strong background in Math and Science.
- Experience working with children in middle school.
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those requiring additional support.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
