Paint Mixer / Stock Associate:

Day-to-day job duties in this role will rely heavily on your attention to detail and your desire to uphold the Janovic promise as “The Color Authority”. Job Responsibilities:
- Sorts products on racks, shelves, and bins according to inventory procedures.
- Transports material to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools.
- Prepares items for customer pickup and processes returned items.
- Checks the appearance and accuracy of filled orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inspects condition of all products for evidence of dents, dust, or blemishes.
- Restocks inventory, bases, and colorants.
- Cleans and replenishes tinting machines.
- Matches invoices with tint labels to guarantee accuracy.
- Color matches customer requests and adjusts color when needed.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Some retail experience desired, preferably one year or more.
- Our stores are open Monday-Friday (7am-6pm), Saturday (8am-4pm), and are closed on Sunday. Store employees must be available to work five weekly shifts that are scheduled within those hours.
- For our warehouse in Long Island City, we are looking for individuals that are able to work Monday-Friday (11am-8pm) and overtime as necessary.
- Must be reliable and demonstrate consistency in your approach to work.
- Must be able lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks.
- Must be able to tint paint and therefore must be able to distinguish the difference between colors.
- Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
- Must be team-oriented and able to work with others.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
- Possess a professional appearance and demeanor.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
