Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce
- Oversee daily operations ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts, including managing shift schedules and resolving operational issues promptly
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards across all kitchen activities
- Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting
- Conduct regular staff training sessions on food handling, safety procedures, POS operation, and customer service excellence
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control measures
- Implement food production strategies that optimize efficiency while maintaining culinary quality in casual dining or fine dining settings
- Ensure compliance with health regulations related to food safety management and sanitation practices
- Support catering events or banquet functions as required, coordinating with kitchen and service teams to deliver seamless experiences
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing restaurants or hospitality teams with a strong background in food service management and supervision
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development initiatives and performance management
- Strong understanding of inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost management strategies
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Previous experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings preferred; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
