Pre-K Counts Teacher

Warwick Child Care Center, Inc. is currently hiring an experienced, energetic, and caring professional to join our team as a Pre-K Counts Teacher in Pottstown, PA.
This position works with a mixed-age classroom of 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old children in a high-quality early learning environment. We are looking for a dedicated educator who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to helping children grow, learn, and prepare for kindergarten.
Working summers is optional.

Required Qualification
Must have PA Teacher Certification PreK–4.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education along with PA Certification in PK–4.
Job Responsibilities
The Pre-K Counts Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating weekly lesson plans, assessments, and child portfolios
- Engaging children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual development
- Implementing the PA Early Learning Standards
- Maintaining Keystone STAR 4 and NAEYC standards
- Attending to children’s basic needs, including supervising meal times, indoor and outdoor play, and nap time
- Providing an engaging classroom environment that allows children to explore, experiment, and learn through play
- Communicating professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership
- Supporting a positive, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom experience
Job Requirements
Qualified candidates must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
- PA Certification in PK–4
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A caring, patient, and professional approach to working with young children
- Ability to work as part of a team
