Augusta Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Field Technician for a full-time opportunity with one of our clients in Augusta, GA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on in the field, solving technical issues, and providing excellent customer support.
What You’ll Do:
- Install and support servers, desktops, printers, scanners, and network devices onsite
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve complex service incidents
- Work directly with end users to ensure systems are operating efficiently
- Configure managed services and assist with onboarding new users
- Document work notes and manage service tickets in a PSA system
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve escalated issues
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation (must be available to respond within 30 minutes during rotation)
- Lift and move equipment (20+ lbs) and work under desks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in a managed service or IT support environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Basic understanding of servers, operating systems, and networking concepts
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Associate or technical degree preferred (not required)
- Progress toward CompTIA or Microsoft certifications is a plus
- Ability to travel regionally as needed
