Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role supports the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients using proper slicing techniques
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety standards in production areas
- Help with food handling, storage, and sanitation to ensure compliance with food safety management practices
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety standards in production
- Assist with meal assembly and plating for service.
- Support food service operations by helping serve meals and ensuring timely delivery to customers or guests
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, hygiene, and equipment use to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and maintain high sanitation standards.
