This leadership role will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary environments across assigned facilities while providing guidance, support, and oversight to environmental services teams.
Oversee environmental services operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the region
Provide leadership and supervision to environmental services and custodial staff
Develop and implement cleaning protocols that comply with OSHA regulations, healthcare standards, and organizational policies
Work with facility leadership to ensure adequate staffing and coverage for environmental services needs
Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to environmental services team members
Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently maintained
Monitor supply inventory and coordinate ordering of cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies
Work collaboratively with administrators, nursing leadership, and other departments to address environmental service needs
Identify opportunities to improve environmental services operations, efficiency, and quality across assigned facilities
Ensure consistent implementation of best practices and organizational standards across the region
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to healthcare environmental services
Proven leadership experience in environmental services, housekeeping, facilities services, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment
Experience overseeing staff across multiple locations or facilities is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices and OSHA regulations
Hands-on experience with floor care processes, including stripping, waxing, and buffing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required to travel between assigned facilities.
Knowledge of healthcare environmental services protocols and regulatory requirements strongly preferred
