Description:
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Responsible for daily product distribution including pick-ups, deliveries and selection of product within warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITES:

Responsible for daily noting of mileage and vehicle conditions in vehicle log and related registers as required by N.Y.S.D.O.T;

Responsible for proper care and operation of vehicle, assists vehicle maintenance schedule;

Reports all vehicle maintenance needs to Facilities Director or Warehouse Manager;

Supports and is backup for Warehouse Assistants and assists with overall warehouse maintenance;
-
Assists warehouse management in special projects as requested;
-
Loading, transporting, and delivering/picking up items to safe, timely manner.

Reviewing orders before loading to ensure that deliveries are completed accurately.

Loading and unloading items from vehicles.

Providing excellent customer service.

Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.

Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.

Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, scanner gun, printer, etc.;

May require occasional coverage at the Falconer area work locations;

Assist with any and all mission work as needed and requested with some or no prior notice including, but not limited to: serving as a truck spotter, helping with FARM Market/Community Garden/Freight Farms/on and off-site food distributions, preparation of meals and serving home-delivered meals; and

Other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements:
- Must possess a New York State Class A Commercial Driver's license and have a minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience, including manual transmission tractors;

Must have a history of responsible driving;

NY State Certified to operate tow motor, forklift and power pallet jack equipment preferred;

Ability to quickly and proficiently learn new software including but not limited to Net Suite Oracle, WAERLinx, RoadNet and Paylocity;

Must be literate with four basic math skills;

Must have current and valid NYS driver’s license and access to an automobile;

Proficient in MS Office; and
-
Must be able to lift 35 pounds for up to two hours continuously.
