Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure client health and safety.
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs as required.
- Document patient observations and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, follow school policies and healthcare regulations.
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Previous experience as a home health aide, pediatrics or adult long term care preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatrics care and adult practices and patient observation techniques.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to document medical information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Valid HHA Certificate or CNA license
- Liable transportation
- 4 CEU’s
- Existing AHCA finger printing
- Physical and TB test
- Knowledgeable using the Alora Plus Apps ( we will train you )
- Proof of residency/citizenship
