Licensed Health & Life Insurance Agent
Health Insurance 101 is growing! We are looking for 8 motivated, licensed insurance agents to join our team at our office on West Commercial Blvd in Tamarac, FL.
This is a in-office, commission-based insurance sales position for licensed agents interested in helping clients find Health, Life, Medicare, and supplemental insurance solutions.
Agents will work with Health Insurance 101 to assist new and existing clients, develop long-term client relationships, manage their assigned clients, and offer coverage across multiple insurance product lines.
Florida 2-15 or 2-40 license required.
A 2-15 Health & Life license is strongly preferred.

What You'll Do
- Assist inbound clients with understanding and selecting insurance coverage based on their individual needs
- Educate clients on available Health, Medicare, Life, and Supplemental Insurance options
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of new and existing clients
- Develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients
- Follow up with prospective and existing clients
- Identify additional coverage needs and cross-sell appropriate products
- Complete applications accurately and maintain organized client records
- Utilize company CRM and sales systems to manage clients and follow-ups
- Stay current on product offerings, carrier requirements, and applicable insurance regulations
- Participate in ongoing product and sales training
- Provide professional, knowledgeable customer service throughout the enrollment process and beyond
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Active Florida 2-15 Health & Life License OR Florida 2-40 Health License required at time of application
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a sales-driven, commission-based environment
- Ability to communicate insurance information clearly to clients
- Organized and comfortable using CRM and computer-based systems
PREFERRED:
- Florida 2-15 Health & Life License
- Previous health or life insurance sales experience
- Experience with ACA, Medicare, Life, Final Expense, or supplemental insurance
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous CRM experience
