Here at YDI we are seeking a dedicated professional who is certified in Arizona to teach secondary English, preferably with special education certification as well.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the field of education with a valid Standard Professional Cross-Cat Spec Ed, K-12 Arizona teaching certificate (preferably with additional certification in a core subject area such as Science or Math). Knowledge of state core subject standards, skills to develop relevant curriculum to meet diverse student needs, experience working with special education students, solid problem solving and classroom management skills, adaptable teaching practices, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, possess an Arizona driver’s license (or obtain one within 45 days after employment), have an acceptable driving record and possess ability to safely perform all job duties. Must also have and maintain a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, be eligible to work in the United States, and pass a criminal background check.
This is a full-time, 40-hour-a-week, year-round position that includes benefits and built-in vacation days. Salary based on experience.
