CNC Milling Set-up Machinist
RevZero is a growing, FDA-regulated medical manufacturer in Minnesota. We specialize in producing custom medical device components, assemblies, and implantable orthopedic devices. Our clients range from regional companies to well-known global brands.
We operate a clean, 100% climate-controlled, medical-grade facility. Our team primarily machines stainless steel and titanium.
We are seeking a Milling Set-up Machinist to run our Haas, Mazak, and Willemin CNC machines.
The type of person we are looking for is one who has a strong understanding of 5 axis machining and a mindset for continuous improvement. They’re a self-starter who can inspect their own parts, coordinate closely with QC, and be comfortable in a collaborative shop environment.

We welcome applicants with experience in machine brands not listed here. Our CNC setup machinists configure machines so that they, and other operators, can run production independently. Supported by our Programming, Engineering, and Quality Control teams, each setup ensures that every part meets clear, detailed specifications.

8-hour 1st shift 5-day week Monday thru Friday 6:00am- 2:30pm

Qualifications for CNC Set-up Machinists:
- Minimum Requirements- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Two-year certificate in machine trades
- Preferred: Two years of experience in CNC Set-up
- Experience achieving and inspecting tight tolerances
- Some knowledge of Vision Systems, CMM and various hand inspection tools
- Good command of spoken and written English
Job Functions for CNC Set-up Machinist:
- Setting up and Operating CNC Milling Machines
- Understanding 5 axis machining
- Reading and understanding dimensional and GD&T print specifications.
- Being able to set up tooling and step through programs
- Working efficiently with minimal supervision and as a team member, including providing feedback regarding machine process performance to the team
- Inspecting one’s own parts
- Performing some machine maintenance as directed at scheduled intervals
- Using your working knowledge of health and safety practices that protect yourself and others from physical harm
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and bringing ideas to your team for action.
