Key Point Academy is seeking a full-time 4th & 5th Grade Math and Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
This teacher will provide Math and Science instruction to upper elementary students, with a focus on 4th and 5th grade. We are looking for a teacher who is confident in upper elementary instruction, able to make math and science engaging, and capable of maintaining a structured and supportive classroom environment.
Position: 4th & 5th Grade Math and Science Teacher
Job Type: Full-time, salaried
Salary: $53,000 annually
Schedule: Monday through Friday
School Year: 2026–2027
Responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver engaging Math and Science lessons for 4th and 5th grade students
- Support student understanding through clear instruction, practice, assessment, and feedback
- Maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment
- Differentiate instruction to support varying student needs
- Communicate professionally with families regarding student progress and classroom expectations
- Collaborate with administration, faculty, and staff
- Follow school policies, procedures, curriculum expectations, and professional standards
- Participate in required school meetings, events, trainings, and professional responsibilities
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Bachelor’s degree in Education accepted without a Florida Teaching Certificate
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than Education must hold a valid Florida Teaching Certificate
- Strong spoken and written English required
- Prior teaching experience in upper elementary Math and/or Science preferred
- Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
