Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Execute route driving plans to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups across designated areas.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to uphold a high standard of safety on the road.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving trucks with manual transmission preferred; ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers and flatbeds.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures for different cargo types such as refrigerated goods, tankers, or heavy loads like dump trucks or roll-off containers.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using equipment like forklifts or roll-off mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of route planning and navigation for efficient delivery schedules.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform load securement tasks.

Pay: $23.02 - $27.72 per hour
