Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flexo Folder Gluer Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexo folder gluing machinery to produce high-quality packaging products. Your expertise will ensure efficient workflow, precise folding, and secure gluing processes that meet our strict quality standards. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexo folder gluer machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration for each job.
- Monitor machine performance throughout production runs, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Conduct prepress checks to verify that printing plates and materials are correctly prepared before production begins.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery, including machining components when necessary, to minimize downtime.
- Manage forklift operations for material handling, ensuring safe loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
- Inspect finished packaging for quality, accuracy of folds, gluing integrity, and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, including logs of machine settings, production counts, and quality checks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating flexo folder gluer machines in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Strong understanding of prepress processes related to printing plates and color registration.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; forklift certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles, including machining techniques relevant to machinery maintenance.
- Familiarity with packaging materials, processes, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly.
- Prior experience working with flexo presses or in a similar printing/packaging role is highly desirable.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
