We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing pediatric dental team. In this role, you will provide exceptional preventive dental care while helping children develop healthy oral hygiene habits in a fun, supportive environment. Working alongside our dentists and clinical staff, you will play an essential role in delivering outstanding patient care while maintaining the highest standards of safety, infection control, and clinical excellence.

Schedule
- Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 7:00 PM*
- Thursday: 7:45 AM – 7:00 PM*
- Friday: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM
*The Wednesday and Thursday extended hours are shared between clinical staff, so you will work either the first shift or the second shift on those days, providing flexibility while ensuring coverage.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and oral health assessments.
- Obtain and review medical and dental histories while maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Document patient findings, treatment recommendations, and progress thoroughly and accurately.
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of routine dental visits.
- Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to promote efficient, high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional pediatric dental services in a positive and welcoming environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members using appropriate dental terminology and professionalism.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by addressing questions, easing anxieties, and ensuring a comfortable experience for every patient.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
- Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred; experience in general dentistry is also welcomed.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, anatomy, infection control, and dental terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with children and their families.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Dedication to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment while following all infection prevention protocols.
