Estimator / Administrative Assistant
Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Estimator / Administrative Assistant to join our restoration and reconstruction team. This position combines estimating with office administration and customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable preparing estimates, communicating with homeowners, insurance adjusters, vendors, and subcontractors, while keeping projects organized from start to finish.
Experience with Xactimate is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for restoration and reconstruction projects using Xactimate (or learn the software through company training).
- Review scopes of work, photos, and project information to develop complete estimates.
- Communicate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Schedule inspections, project meetings, and coordinate job timelines.
- Maintain organized job files, contracts, permits, and project documentation.
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and other administrative duties.
- Track project progress and update estimates as needed.
- Support project managers and field staff to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Perform other office and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous estimating, administrative, or construction office experience preferred.
- Experience with Xactimate is a plus but not required.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Pay: $60,057.64 - $72,327.48 per year
