We are looking for an Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager for Okeechobee Steakhouse.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for every aspect of the guest's and staff's experience coming out of the kitchen. Supports the entire team including both Front of House and Back of House. Must have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service skills, and Strong restaurant kitchen management experience. Must be willing to buy into our disciplined success systems and culture of excellence.
- Builds and attains annual restaurant sales goals.
- Hires and oversees training and performance reviews for entire back of the house staff including cooks, prep, and dishwashers.
- Coaches, develops, and leads staff.
- Oversees scheduling of kitchen staff based upon anticipated volume and coordination of balanced kitchen.
- Resolves elevated customer complaints from staff and/or asks for assistance from a fellow Manager.
- Provides leadership that inspires teamwork, generates energy, enthusiasm, and drives results.
- Handles budgeting and forecasting; proven history of delivering on those forecasted results.
- Provides excellent service to customers, vendors, other related businesses, FOH Staff & Kitchen staff.
- Communicates well with others to continuously improve and implement the procedures that lead to success.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in culinary and restaurant management.
- Passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and pride in flawless execution.
- Strong leadership abilities and team-building skills.
- Organizational and time management skills a must.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Dedication to maintaining the highest service standards.
- Ability to handle stress and remain calm and professional under pressure.
License/Certification:
- ServSafe (Preferred).
- Driver's License (Preferred).
