Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Marine Technician (Boat Mechanic) to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of boats and marine engines. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for working on the water.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on boats and marine engines
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, winterization, etc.)
- Work on inboard, outboard, and sterndrive engines
- Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, and cooling systems
- Install and repair marine equipment and accessories
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers as needed
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Qualifications
- Experience as a marine technician, boat mechanic, or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of marine engines (Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo Penta, etc.) is a plus
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Valid driver’s license (boating license a plus)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions

- Marine Service Technology certification
- American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) certification
- Manufacturer certifications (Mercury, Yamaha, etc.)
