Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as SpotOn POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all alcohol service regulations.
- Restock bar supplies promptly to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including beverage ingredients and garnishes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service, catering events, or banquet setups when needed.
- Use strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Uphold safety protocols related to food safety, alcohol service, and general hospitality practices.
- Assist in setting up for special events such as nightclubs or catering functions to create an inviting environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of POS system is essential for efficient order processing.
- Experience serving in fine dining environments or banquet settings is a plus, showcasing your versatility across different hospitality contexts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate change calculation.
- Previous experience working with brewing processes or beverage preparation techniques is advantageous.
