We're looking for a dependable, hardworking Shop Helper who wants more than just a job—we're looking for someone who wants to build a career in the automotive industry. This position is designed as a stepping stone into becoming an Automotive Apprentice Technician. The right candidate will learn our shop operations, assist our technicians, and, based on performance, attitude, and work ethic, have the opportunity to move into an apprentice technician role after approximately 6 months to 1 year.
What You'll Do
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe throughout the day.
- Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and maintain a professional shop appearance.
- Help technicians by retrieving tools, parts, and supplies.
- Assist with moving vehicles and preparing vehicles for service.
- Organize inventory, stock shop supplies, and help keep parts organized.
- Help with shop maintenance and general facility upkeep.
- Assist technicians with basic tasks while learning proper repair procedures.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a positive, team-first attitude.
- Perform additional shop support duties as needed.

Our goal is to develop the right person into an Automotive Apprentice Technician. Employees who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude may be promoted into our apprentice program after approximately 6 months to 1 year, where they'll begin receiving hands-on training alongside experienced technicians.
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable and dependable with excellent attendance.
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay productive.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in an active shop environment.
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in automotive repair is a plus, but no professional experience is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work well with others and take direction from senior technicians.
- Pride in keeping a clean and organized workspace.
