Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, and medical staff to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and communication strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and professional guidelines.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
CCC-SLP preferred but not required.
Prior experience in long-term care is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for serving the geriatric population.
