The Service Team is comprised of both Data-Comm Technicians and Lead Electricians that have demonstrated professional conduct, adherence to company policies, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication with field operations, dispatch, and clients. The Service Team is entrusted with the management, direction, and execution of field installations or repairs for assigned commercial or industrial projects, ensuring timely completion within budgeted labor, material, and equipment costs while upholding the highest standards of workmanship and safety. The Team is assigned a helper or another technician/electrician and occasionally may be asked to lead a crew of up to 10. Responsibilities encompass troubleshooting, risk resolution, and coaching field employees to enhance their skills.
- Utilize Journeyman (Electric) or Fiber Technician (Comms) level technical skills with a record of successfully demonstrating competence in mechanical skills, code knowledge, theory, installation skills and safety practices
- Produce and oversee quality workmanship
- Ability to plan ahead and apply seasoned judgment to problem-solving
