Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and kitchen support when needed
- Assist with opening or closing duties, including setting up stations or cleaning work areas
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
- Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with fine dining or upscale hospitality settings is advantageous
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to serve guests expertly
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
