Job Title: Aesthetic Nurse
Position Summary:
Arboretum Dermatology is seeking an experienced Full-Time Aesthetic Aesthetic Nurse to join our busy medical & cosmetic dermatology office. An ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic, hard working and looking to expand our cosmetic practice. Excellent people skills are essential. Aesthetic medical services include cosmetic injections (dermal filler, neurotoxins), laser hair removal, laser therapy and advanced aesthetics (medical grade facial, peels, microneedling).
The ideal candidate would have an understanding of dermatology terminology and experience with charting in electronic medical records (EMA experience is a plus).
Full-time benefits include PTO and medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(K). Pay is dependent on experience.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be certified and have at least 2 years of experience with lasers, medical grade products, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and microneedling. Prior experience at a medical spa, dermatology office, or other medical practice is preferred.
Education and/or Experience
· Active Washington state Registered Nurse (RN)
· Training certification and experience in esthetics, microneedling, laser treatments, and radio frequency skin tightening
· Basic computer proficiency
· Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMA) software is preferred
· Knowledge of SkinCeuticals, Alastin, SkinBetter, Plated and EltaMD skin care
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Provide consultations to patients and develop personalized treatment plans.
· Provide medical laser treatments, injections, microneedling, facials, chemical peels and more.
· Effective, compassionate, professional interactions and communication with patients and other health team members.
· Able to evaluate and educate patients on their skin care regimens.
· Able to work independently while promoting a team environment.
· Work closely with providers in assisting for procedures and treatments.
· Accurately assess the condition of a patient’s skin and make informed recommendations about treatments and/or skin care product regimens to enhance the appearance of the skin.
· Contribute to the creation of promotional campaigns that will grow the business and endorse the practice’s brand.
· Need to understand scheduling and occasionally answer phones and schedule appointments as needed.
· Suggest and promote retail products and additional services offered at the company.
· Ability to generate and maintain a client base.

· Speaking, close vision, hearing, handling objects or controls, reaching, squatting, bending, and maneuvering.
· May require lifting up to 50 lbs of heavy objects and/or machinery.
· Stress may be triggered by workload and difficult patients.
· Occasional pushing and pulling of patients in wheelchairs and assisting to sit and stand.
