About the Role
KSC Foods is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to support daily warehouse receiving, returns, inventory, and put-away operations. This position is responsible for receiving, unloading, inspecting, documenting, and moving inbound products, including cases, boxes, bags, pallets, and other warehouse inventory.
The Warehouse Receiver plays an important role in maintaining receiving accuracy, product integrity, warehouse organization, and a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, unload, inspect, and verify inbound shipments.

Compare received products against purchase orders, bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and other receiving documentation.

Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, overages, incorrect items, damaged products, or labeling issues to the Warehouse Manager or designated supervisor.

Accurately complete receiving, returns, inventory, and related warehouse documentation in accordance with Company procedures.

Stage, label, move, and put away received products in assigned warehouse locations.

Operate sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, dock plates, and other approved warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Complete required equipment inspections and safety checklists before operating powered industrial equipment.

Practice safe maneuvering in warehouse aisles, dock areas, loading areas, cooler/freezer areas, and other designated work areas.

Maintain product integrity by following Company procedures for handling, storage, rotation, cleanliness, and damage reporting.

Support shipping, receiving, returns, inventory control, and warehouse housekeeping functions as assigned.

Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and safe work environment.

Organize and prioritize work assignments to meet receiving schedules, operational needs, and established deadlines.
Qualifications

Previous experience in warehouse, receiving, inventory, distribution, or related areas preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ability to accurately verify products against purchase orders, bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and other receiving documentation.

Ability to identify and communicate product discrepancies, shortages, overages, damage, labeling issues, or other receiving concerns.

Ability to safely operate or learn to operate approved warehouse equipment, including sit-down forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks, dock plates, and related material-handling equipment.

Basic ability to use warehouse technology, scanners, inventory systems, or other Company-approved systems as required.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, warehouse personnel, drivers, vendors, and other internal teams.

Ability to follow Company safety procedures, food safety requirements, equipment inspection procedures, and warehouse housekeeping standards.
Schedule Requirements

Ability to work the assigned schedule, including start times based on warehouse receiving, inbound truck schedules, and operational needs.

Ability to work overtime, weekends, or schedule changes as needed based on business needs.

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, climb, push, pull, lift, and carry as required during warehouse receiving and put-away activities.

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds as required.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment and move palletized products in warehouse, dock, cooler, and freezer environments.

Ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced warehouse setting for extended periods.
Work Environment

Work is performed in warehouse, dock, receiving, dry storage, cooler, and freezer environments.

Position may require exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels, refrigerated and freezer areas, moving equipment, palletized products, loading docks, and truck traffic.

Employees must follow all Company safety procedures, food safety requirements, PPE standards, equipment safety rules, and warehouse housekeeping expectations.
