Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes.
- Facilitate intake processes for new clients, ensuring comprehensive documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to manage cases involving co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction, and chronic pain.
- Provide specialized services including grief counseling, pediatric and youth therapy, Geriatrics support, gender issues counseling, and medical terminology education when relevant.
- Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to evaluate treatment efficacy and improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with current certification in good standing.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, behavioral health, or mental health counseling across outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities—including autism—and those with co-occurring disorders such as substance use or mental health conditions.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques, trauma-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and telehealth therapy delivery methods preferred.
- Excellent clinical documentation skills ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining patient-centered care principles.

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
