For over 30 years Club House has been providing a low cost, high quality childcare program. Columbus Club House is a 501c3 non-profit, state licensed child care program for children from kindergarten through age 12. The program was formed in 1988 by community leaders and concerned citizens who wanted to create a learning environment for healthy child development. Through our annual fundraiser, amazing volunteers, the tireless dedication of the Board of Directors, and with the support of the community we have continued generation after generation.

What your day to day looks like:
This is a full-time Program Director role. The Program Director is expected to work 30+ hours per week, including before and after-school coverage as needed.
· Summer program child attendance hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
· School year program child attendance hours are Monday – Friday 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. with scheduled half day and full day care during school in-service days.
The Columbus Club House Program Director is responsible for the management and implementation of Columbus Club House’s program for school-age children. The Program Director is also responsible for the supervision of staff including recruitment, hiring, and training; oversight for regulatory compliance; and the development of policies and procedures.
- Oversee staff in the development of the written curriculum including:

- Ensures compliance with continuing education requirements for all staff.
- Conduct and document staff meetings monthly
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all on-site records as required for the Department of Children and Families and the Board of Directors.
- Daily check-in/out log
- Collecting and recording fees
- Maintain all required records/medical log as stipulated by DCF
- Schedule and carry out monthly emergency drills and practices.

- Policies and Procedure manual
- Provide your written Program Director report to the Board of Directors, when you attend the monthly board meetings.
- Columbus Club House is graciously housed within other community organizations and the Program Director is responsible, at all times, for maintaining the professional environment. The Program Director is to ensure the site where daily activity occurs is clean, safe and contains all the necessary materials for the daily program.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Be at least 21 years of age
· Have completed high school or its equivalent as determined by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
· CPR/First Aid certification
· Experience developing and enhancing programming for School-Age Child Care
· Wisconsin Registry Level 12 or higher
· Excellent verbal and written communication including experience in word processing programs such as Google Docs or Microsoft Word.
· Ability to pass a background check including fingerprints as required by DCF
· Meet the requirements of the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families to be the Director of a Group Child Care Center licensed to care for 50 or fewer children.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
