We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator II to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for municipal, utility, and heavy civil construction projects, ensuring all aspects, materials, and labor are thoroughly evaluated. Your expertise will help drive successful project planning, budgeting, and bidding processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and profitability of our projects. This position supports the Pre-Construction Manager and offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, collaborate with clients and project teams, and utilize your technical knowledge to deliver precise estimates that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities
- Prepare complete estimates for assigned projects.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing analyses.
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Participate in bid reviews and project handoff meetings.
- Maintain estimating databases and historical production rates.
- Assist in mentoring Estimator I team members.
Experience
- 3–7 years of heavy civil or utility estimating experience.
- Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications.
- Experience with Bluebeam and advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of estimating software such as HeavyBid, B2W, AGTEK, or similar.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
