Job Summary
We are seeking part-time overnight safety and security monitors to join our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment at our facilities by monitoring indoor premises, safety systems, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will help ensure safety and productivity for clients and their operations. This position offers one to two overnight weekend shifts, an ideal opportunity for individuals committed to making a positive impact in a part time and flexible capacity.
Responsibilities
This overnight role is highly autonomous and requires someone who is reliable, takes initiative, and is committed to quality work.
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing passes as needed
- Conduct regular indoor patrols of the property to ensure safety (fire) and security systems are functioning appropriately
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes
Job Details
- Pay rates: Starting at $16/hour
- Schedule: One to two overnight weekend shifts (~9 pm to 5 am) in an indoor setting
- 8-16 hours/week with the opportunity for additional hours (if desired) in other security and safety roles
- No experience required
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
- Ability to walk at a moderate pace for 20-30 minutes for each hour of the shift
- Stand for long periods of time
