Effex Management Solutions is seeking a highly driven and strategic Director of Workforce Implementation to lead the successful launch and transition of new client partnerships across the country. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of client implementation, including workforce transitions, operational setup, onsite leadership deployment, client relationship management, and implementation team oversight.
This is a hands-on leadership role designed for someone who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments, can lead under pressure, and is comfortable traveling extensively to support high-volume workforce transitions. The Director of Workforce Implementation will act as the operational lead during new client launches and will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless transition from previous staffing providers to Effex Management Solutions.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, operationally strong, and capable of leading both internal implementation teams and external client relationships during critical startup phases.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Implementation & Operational Launches
- Lead and oversee all new client implementations nationwide from pre-launch planning through post-launch stabilization.
- Manage large-scale workforce transitions involving contingent manufacturing and production employees.
- Develop and execute implementation timelines, staffing plans, onboarding strategies, and launch processes.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact during implementation periods.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Recruiting, HR, Payroll, Safety, Compliance, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
- Ensure all implementation milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are met successfully.
Team Leadership
- Manage and oversee a team of Workforce Implementation Coordinators and traveling implementation staff.
- Provide coaching, direction, accountability, and performance management to implementation teams.
- Assist in building standardized implementation procedures, training processes, and operational playbooks.
- Conduct onsite leadership support and ensure implementation teams maintain Effex standards and professionalism.
Client Relations & Workforce Management
- Build strong relationships with client leadership teams during implementation and transition periods.
- Assess client operational needs and identify workforce solutions to support production goals.
- Address escalated operational concerns, attendance trends, staffing gaps, onboarding challenges, and employee relations matters.
- Support the transition of workforce management responsibilities from implementation teams to permanent onsite operations teams.
Operational & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client expectations, safety protocols, and employment regulations.
- Monitor onboarding processes, timekeeping systems, workforce tracking, and implementation reporting.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to streamline future implementations and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in staffing, workforce management, manufacturing operations, implementation management, or high-volume recruiting environments.
- Strong experience managing teams in fast-paced operational environments.
- Experience leading client launches, operational transitions, or large-scale staffing projects preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 90% nationwide, often on short notice.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly in rapidly changing environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, workforce management systems, ATS platforms, and reporting tools.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
