Trailer Mechanic / Trailer Technician
We are looking for an experienced Trailer Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a fleet of 53' trailers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to perform repairs with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
DOT inspections and preventive maintenance
Brake repairs and adjustments
Suspension repairs Wheel seals, hubs, bearings, and axle repairs
Electrical troubleshooting and lighting repairs
Welding and fabrication
Landing gear repairs
Roof, floor, and sidewall repairs
Trailer collision and structural repairs
Air system diagnosis and repair
Road service as needed
Complete repair documentation and work orders
Qualifications
Experience working on semi-trailers
Knowledge of DOT inspection requirements
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Ability to diagnose electrical and air brake systems
Valid driver's license Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
