Assistant Pool Managers support the Pool Manager in the daily operation and supervision of the facility while also maintaining the core responsibilities of a lifeguard. This role includes evaluating lifeguard performance, completing daily facility inspections, assisting with in-service trainings and staff meetings, and completing required daily paperwork. Assistant Managers play a key role in mentoring, training, and supporting lifeguards to promote strong performance, teamwork, and professionalism. Providing excellent customer service is essential to ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
As the next-in-command at the facility, Assistant Managers may be responsible for overseeing operations and staff in the absence of the Pool Manager.
