Bridgeview is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DNS) to lead and oversee all nursing operations. This role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong team leadership in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
Oversee all nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Ensure quality of care and adherence to clinical standards
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and DOH regulations
Supervise care plans, documentation, and clinical outcomes
Lead hiring, training, scheduling, and staff development
Manage infection control, incident reporting, and risk management
Collaborate with Administration and interdisciplinary teams
Prepare for surveys and ensure ongoing survey readiness
Monitor performance, address issues, and implement improvements
Active RN license (NY required)
Prior experience as DNS or Assistant DNS in a skilled nursing facility
Strong knowledge of DOH regulations and survey process
Leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage staff and maintain a positive team culture
