Job Overview
PumpingSol, an Alpharetta, GA manufacturing company specializing in custom engineered skid-mounted fluid handling systems, seeks an experienced Pipe Welder/Fitter, with minimum 5-years experience. This is a Temporary Position, that can turn into permanent.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Pipe fitting, basic welding and fabrication.
- Cutting and welding metal frames.
- Installs & welds piping by measuring, cutting, bending, shaping, fabricating, threading, machining, and assembling fluid handling equipment and instrumentation using hand tools and equipment
- Mechanical assembly of fluid components.
- Power tools and heavy machinery operations (saw, forklift, overhead crane).
- Basic conventional machining (lathe & milling).
- Electrical panel knowledge and wiring.
- Quality assurance experience.
- Blueprint reading, documentation skills.
- Shop basic safety.
- Hand tools and shop equipment maintenance
- Thoroughness, problem-solving, customer service, lifting, planning.
- Must have own hand tools.

Duties include:
- Cutting and welding metal frames.
- Pipe fitting, Welding and fabrication, handling of various Power tools,
- Mechanical assembly of piping, tubing, pumps, valves and instrumentation.
- Safety, Maintenance, Documentation- Planning,
- Electrical panel knowledge and Electrical diagram reading.
- Study blueprints, diagrams, specifications, manuals, and requirements.
- Machine simple components on conventional machines.
- Cut, frame materials, piping and tubing by measuring, cutting, bending, shaping, fabricating, threading, machining.
- Wire and connect electrical components with control panels.
- Install, align, and calibrate flow control elements and instrumentation.
- Open to perform any other job functions as needed.
- Document actions by completing records and testing completed work.
- Maintain tools and equipment following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventive maintenance.
- Travel to clients in the US and overseas for startup, commissioning, and servicing.
- Pay: $26-30 per hour, based on skill level and experience.
