The Engineering Intern will support the Engineering team in the design, development, and manufacturing of Pine Hill products. This role offers hands-on experience across the full production lifecycle, from sales order engineering to shop floor support, while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and planning teams. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in applying engineering fundamentals in a real-world manufacturing environment.
Engineer sales orders for all Pine Hill products, including:
- Creating 3D models, drawings, and manufacturing methods for each order
Support product improvement initiatives by addressing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)Assist with general engineering activities, including:
- Product and process design

Creating and modifying models and drawings using SolidWorks

Creating part numbers, methods, and maintaining accurate data within Epicor (ERP)
Provide engineering support to shop floor, purchasing, and planning personnel.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, accurate, and efficient.
Participate in brainstorming and problem-solving efforts to improve products and processes.
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar preferred)
Understanding of engineering design and manufacturing fundamentals
Familiarity with or willingness to learn:
- SolidWorks
