Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them accordingly
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about the establishment
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
- Work with the Point of Sale (POS) system to handle guest transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow
Skills:
- Prior experience in hospitality or guest services preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to help guests in a professional manner
- Proficiency in POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Excellent phone etiquette when handling reservations or guest inquiries
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
