Material Handler / Molding Technician Trainee
HQC Incorporated, a growing injection molding company, is hiring dependable team members for Material Handler / Molding Technician Trainee positions. Available Shifts and Pay
1st Shift: 6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. | $18 per hour
3rd Shift: 10:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m. | $20 per hour
Basic Duties and Responsibilities
· Mix materials and keep machines properly supplied to support continuous production.
· Take apart grinders and dryers, clean them thoroughly, and reassemble them correctly.
· Keep assigned work areas neat, clean, and organized.
· Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
· Keep packers and inspectors supplied with the materials and items needed to perform their jobs.
· Remove garbage and scrap as needed.
· Grind parts as assigned.
· Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
· Work rotating weekends as scheduled.
· Maintain good attendance and reliability.
· Forklift experience and basic mechanical aptitude are helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
· This position can be fast-paced at times and includes opportunities to cross-train in other areas.
· Ideal candidates are interested in learning all aspects of injection molding and building long-term skills in manufacturing.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.
· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or containers as needed.
· Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with moving equipment, machinery, and production activity.
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and accurately.
· Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
