Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant
Hours: 10-20 hours/week
Wage: $17/hr.
Classification: Part-time, Year-round, non-exempt
Reports to: Head of Housekeeping

General job description:
The housekeeping assistant is responsible for providing exceptional guest experience through thorough room cleaning, bed making, and restocking room amenities. In this role you are asked to maintain high standard of cleanliness and safety across assigned sleeping rooms and common spaces.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Vacuuming and carpet cleaning
- Cleaning windows and mirrors
- Cleaning furniture and other woodwork
- Cleaning decks including sweeping, leaf blowing, and pressure washing
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Making beds
Qualifications:
- At least 16 years old.
- Previous experience in housekeeping responsibilities is preferred

Physical requirements:
- Able to work standing for several hours and lift heavy objects up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to move freely to assist guests

Shift:
- Generally 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM of 4:00 PM but this does occasionally vary
- Shifts occur on all days of the week and weekend based on the arrival and departure schedule of our guests.
- Applicants with availability on Thursday, Fridays and Sundays will be prioritized as these are the days we most frequently have shifts.
While a background check will be a part of the final hiring process, diverse experiences, including those who have had prior contact with the criminal legal system are valued as potential employees.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
