Step into an impactful contract role serving elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week in a supportive school setting, working closely with an elementary-aged caseload. Speech-language services are delivered in person, ensuring you build vital connections with your students and play a key role in their success.
You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 65 students, with weighting based on severity and individual need. Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans. Your dedication will help students achieve meaningful progress in communication, language, and social skills.
Qualifications:
- Valid State Speech-Language Pathologist license and ODE certification required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong clinical skills in school-based SLP, pediatrics, CCC, or CFY welcomed
- Experience with IEP development, therapy implementation, and documentation preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for working directly with elementary-aged students and engaging families in their progress
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within an elementary school setting
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans for a weighted caseload of 65 students
- Collaborate as a key member of the educational team to support student progress
- Maintain required documentation and contribute to IEP team meetings
- Provide therapy sessions, progress updates, and family education in person
