We are seeking a driven technician who enjoys diagnosing tough issues, optimizing equipment performance, and keeping high-speed production running at its best.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues on extrusion and thermoforming equipment
- Work with PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, and control systems to maintain and improve equipment reliability
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Analyze equipment performance and implement process improvements
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to solve recurring issues
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repairs and improvements
- Champion and follow all safety procedures
- Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience (480V, controls, PLCs preferred)
- Proven ability to diagnose and solve complex equipment problems under pressure
- Experience in plastics, extrusion, or thermoforming equipment is a strong plus
- Solid mechanical aptitude in addition to electrical skillset
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Self-motivated problem solver who enjoys working independently and as part of a team
- Desire to take ownership of equipment performance and continuously improve processes
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete floors for extended periods
- Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Comfortable working around moving machinery in an industrial environment
