Title: Manufacturing Operations Specialist IV
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6–8 Months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM (Overtime/Weekends as needed)
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Specialist IV to support production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on production control, work order management, inventory coordination, manufacturing systems (MES/SAP), operational reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure production readiness and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily manufacturing operations and production execution.
- Create, release, prioritize, and close production/rework work orders in MES and SAP/ERP.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Materials teams.
- Lead Tier 1/Tier 2 production meetings and communicate production status, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Monitor inventory, material readiness, kitting, replenishment, and production schedules.
- Maintain Power BI dashboards, production reports, and operational metrics.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing system and inventory issues while ensuring data accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Support production scale-up, capacity planning, and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and company quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Production Control, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related fields.
- Strong hands-on experience with MES, SAP/ERP, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of production control, work order management, material flow, and manufacturing systems.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (GMP/FDA/ISO 13485).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Experience with root cause analysis, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with ComplianceWire, Airtable, and production planning systems.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification/experience.
- Previous experience mentoring team members or serving as a manufacturing subject matter expert.
Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
