Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens by cleaning appliances, countertops, sinks, and ensuring proper sanitation of all areas
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate floor care techniques to preserve their appearance
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ specific cleaning requests promptly and professionally
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked, organized, and used safely according to safety protocols
- Follow established procedures for sanitation and safety standards to promote health and well-being within the space
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, floor buffers, and steam cleaners
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene in various environments
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward residents or guests
- Prior experience in laundry management or housekeeper management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
