Now Hiring: Material Handler
Location: Acton, MA
Pay: $25.40/hour
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM (4-day work week!)
Are you looking for a hands-on warehouse opportunity with a stable schedule and competitive pay? We are seeking a Material Handler for a temporary position supporting a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. No previous experience is required—comprehensive training will be provided.
What You'll Do
- Transfer materials between warehouse and production areas following established procedures
- Replenish inventory and prepare components for production using a Kanban system
- Perform accurate material transactions in SAP/ERP systems
- Operate warehouse equipment, including manual pallet jacks and compacting equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support inventory movement, packaging, and end-of-shift housekeeping tasks
- Respond to team communications and production support requests
- Follow quality, safety, and regulatory standards at all times
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move materials weighing 30–50 lbs.
- Operate manual pallet jacks
- Stand, bend, and move throughout a 12-hour shift
- Frequently lift above shoulder level and occasionally below the waist
