About the Company Hiring: A global aerospace and defense organization is seeking a General Manager to lead a growing business unit. This role oversees a manufacturing locations in Salt Lake City and another site in Europe.

About the Job: This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing a growing electronics manufacturing business within the aerospace and defense industry. The General Manager will lead multiple sites, including operations in the U.S. and Europe, and will have full responsibility for the business unit’s financial performance, operations, and long-term strategy.This is a high-impact opportunity for a proven manufacturing leader to drive growth, lead global teams, and influence strategy within a complex and innovative industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, supply chain, program management, quality, manufacturing, and sales
- Managing full P&L responsibility, including financial performance, delivery, quality, and safety goals
- Building strong internal teams and developing leadership talent
- Driving business growth, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and customer relationships
- Developing and executing strategic plans aligned with broader company goals
- Collaborating with leadership across multiple business units and locations
Qualified candidates should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of leadership experience in electronics manufacturing
- Experience manufacturing circuit cards
- 5+ years in a strategic leadership role managing people and business operations
- Experience leading a P&L within aerospace, defense, or related manufacturing industries
- Willingness to travel regularly to Europe.
Salary: $225,000 – $250,000 base salary plus bonus. Comprehensive benefits package included.
