Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Cousin's Burgers. We are looking for someone energetic who can upsell our products while providing customers a great experience. Must be extraverted and willing to bring a great attitude.
Duties
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Assist in product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain proper phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries. (No phones allowed.)
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register is advantageous.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as this can enhance communication with our diverse clientele.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
