RediVan is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Full-Time Medical Transportation Driver to join our growing team.
Our drivers provide safe and reliable transportation for wheelchair and ambulatory passengers traveling to medical appointments, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, dialysis treatments, and other healthcare destinations throughout the Southern Tier and surrounding regions.
Position Details
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- Daytime hours
- Home every night
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Paid training provided
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments
- Assist wheelchair passengers with boarding, securement, and exiting vehicles
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle
- Maintain accurate trip documentation and logs
- Communicate professionally with passengers, family members, healthcare facilities, and dispatch staff
- Follow all NYS traffic laws and company safety procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to elderly and disabled passengers
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Driver License
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to safely assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or transportation services is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- CDL License with Passenger Endorsement
- Wheelchair transportation experience
- Medical transportation experience
