Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience and meet sales goals
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are appealing and accessible
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and product replenishment
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environment is advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
